Prior to forming Experiential CG, Jonathan Gordon spent four years as a Director of Asset Management for Equity Commonwealth (NYSE: EQC). While at EQC, his responsibilities included budgeting, managing the capital spend and negotiated leases totaling over 2 million square feet. Additionally, he helped shape the national amenities & services program and assisted in the disposition of properties. During his tenure at EQC, he was responsible for over seven million square feet of office and industrial assets at 19 properties in eight markets.
Jonathan spent the first ten years of his career in tenant representation working at Cushman & Wakefield and Transwestern. He advised over 150 companies to negotiate office leases resulting in transaction volume in excess of 500,000 square feet. Jonathan’s focus was helping tenants with site selection, lease renewals, lease restructures, expansions, relocations, and financial & strategic consulting. Select clients included Hilton Hotels, Integrated Office Suites, DLA Piper, Clearstream.tv, City Year, Blueprint CRE, and Orbitz.
Jonathan earned his degree in Journalism and Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas and is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker, LEED AP and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Jimmy brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic leadership to the organization. Leveraging his understanding of market trends, financial management, and real estate operations Jimmy focuses on acquisitions, investment management, and executing effective financial strategies for the firm. Jimmy is committed to developing a cohesive financial strategy aligning with ECG’s overall mission and core values to deliver exceptional guest experiences and investment performance on behalf of our stakeholders.
Jimmy has over 12 years of real estate experience across asset classes including multifamily, office, industrial, and data centers. Prior to joining ECG, Jimmy worked in the Valuation and Portfolio Reporting group at Revantage Corporate Services, a Blackstone Company, focusing on a datacenter portfolio valued at roughly $15B. Additionally, Jimmy has over 6 years of experience working in office and multifamily asset management, most recently as a Vice President at Boyd Watterson Asset Management (BWAM). At BWAM Jimmy served as the asset manager on behalf of several institutional investors and was responsible for a portfolio of over 90 properties valued at over $1B.
Before his shift into asset management, Jimmy was a part of the FP&A group at Global Logistic Properties (GLP), formerly IndCor Properties, a Blackstone Company. At GLP, Jimmy performed financial analysis over a portfolio of 800+ properties totaling over 150 million square feet of industrial assets across the U.S. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to be apart of the 2014 Private Equity Real Estate Deal of the Year with the $8.1B private sale of IndCor Properties to GLP.
Jimmy spent the first three years of his career in the assurance group at KPMG LLP, leading engagements pertaining to public REITs and private equity real estate clients.
Jimmy received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a CFA Charterholder, Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Chicago, AICPA, and ICPAS.
Matt drives the pricing, marketing, distribution, and strategies to maximize revenue for The Neighborhood® brand of thoughtfully designed and furnished short term stay residences. Matt tactically leads operations by putting teams, systems, and software in place to operate the brand’s tech-enabled hotels. Matt helps the company achieve its long-term growth goals while delivering a memorable guest experience across the portfolio.
Matt comes from a management consulting background from his time at Huron Consulting Group and Civic Consulting Alliance. Matt has also spent time at REITs with his internship at Equity Lifestyle Properties, as well as exposure to investment banking from his experience working at Merrill Lynch. Matt received his bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and has a masters of entrepreneurship from Columbia College.
Craig is serving Experiential Capital Group in a consulting capacity as it expands its portfolio and continues to take on larger and more-complex projects.
Craig’s expertise in commercial real estate asset management, financial modeling, and accounting allows him to serve ECG in a variety of functions. Craig previously worked with 90 North Group, Equity Commonwealth, and Deloitte & Touche, and he received a B.B.A in both Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa.
Prior to founding Rebel House, Marli served as the senior designer for real estate development group AJ Capital Partners. At AJ Capital Partners, Marli was part of a creative team that developed, designed, branded, and launched a collection of boutique hotels across the United States.
